Amish: A Secret Life

1 X 60’
TX 2nd August 2012

An extraordinarily intimate portrait about Amish life and faith.  The film opens up a world usually kept private. Miriam and David are Old Order Amish, and photography is not permitted under the rules of the Amish church.  So when they agree to open their home and their lives to the cameras, they embark on a journey which is not without risk.   As the film unfolds, we learn exactly what is at stake for this family  -  and why they wanted to share their lives and risk all.

If you wish to contact David and Miriam, please email Lynn at the address below.  The family welcomes feedback and all correspondence will be forwarded to the family.

The film was watched by 2.24million viewers in the Olympics week.
